چکیده

Abstract We study the hydrogen ionization instability mechanism in context of low-mass X-ray binaries with a black hole as central object. make numerical calculations predicted outbursts’ light curves and compare them to data observed by satellites. The comparison is done for five sources RXTE/ASM (XTE J1550−564, 4U 1630−472, XTE J1859+226, GX 339-4, J1818−245) one source MAXI (MAXI J1659−152). aim this paper show that operating an accretion disk responsible shape outbursts binaries. From fitting process, we put tight constraints on global parameters such mass rate. influence chemical composition overall analysis also shown. In case each outburst, found bolometric curve qualitatively matches data. were able model main outburst secondary reflare often seen data, latter caused presence metals gas. analyzed two outbursts, which allowed us 4 ± 0.5 M ⊙ rate yr −1 .

The disc instability model for X-ray transients: evidence for truncation and irradiation

We study the prospect of explaining the outbursts of Soft X-ray Transients (SXTs) by the thermalviscous instability in a thin disc. This instability is linked to hydrogen ionization and is significantly changed when irradiation of the disc by X-rays from the inner regions is included. We present the first numerically reliable, physically consistent calculations of the outburst cycles which incl...

Soret Dufour Driven Thermosolutal Instability of Darcy-maxwell Fluid

Linear stability of double diffusive convection of Darcy-Maxwell fluid with Soret and Dufour effects is investigated. The effects of the Soret and Dufour numbers, Lewis number, relaxation time and solutal Darcy Rayleigh number on the stationary and oscillatory convection are presented graphically. The Dufour number enhances the stability of Darcy-Maxwell fluid for stationary convection while it...

Dynamical instability in driven colloids

– Brownian-dynamics computer simulations show a dynamical crossover in a strongly interacting colloidal suspension consisting of oppositely driven particles, wherein a uniform state transforms, with increasing driving force, into a locally demixed state characterized by strongly anisotropic stripe-like domains which are homogeneous in the direction parallel to the drive but have finite spatial ...

Evaporatively driven morphological instability.

Simple observations of evaporating solutions reveal a complex hierarchy of spatiotemporal instabilities. We analyze one such instability suggested by the qualitative observations of Du and Stone and find that it is driven by a variant of the classical morphological instability in alloy solidification. In the latter case a moving solid-liquid interface is accompanied by a solutally enriched boun...

Ionization driven molecular outflow in K3-50A

Context. Whether high mass stars continue to accrete material beyond the formation of an HII region is still an open question. Ionized infall and outflow have been seen in some sources, but their ties to the surrounding molecular gas are not well constrained. Aims: We aim to quantify the ionized and molecular gas dynamics in a high mass star forming region (K3-50A) and their interaction. Method...
